My name is Leah Floyd, and I am an experienced teacher, proud parent, and long-time Fort Saskatchewan resident. I am running for school trustee with a focus on Supportive Schools, Engaged Communities, and Bright Futures.

I envision schools that are safe and welcoming, where every student has the chance to succeed. Achieving this requires strong family engagement, active community partnerships, and the stability of dedicated educators committed to preparing students for life beyond graduation.

With 20 years of teaching experience and as a parent here in Fort Saskatchewan, I’m ready to put students at the heart of every decision.

Putting students first by directing more funding into classrooms, expanding opportunities to meet diverse needs, and ensuring safe learning environments.

Strengthening parent involvement, building community partnerships, and fostering stable leadership that families can count on.

Long-term planning, keeping experienced educators in our classrooms, and enhancing programming to prepare students for success after graduation.
